The Maheno has been sitting on the Eastern Beach since 1935 after an attempt to tow it to Japan for scrapping went wrong. For this image I used my head torch to illuminate the wreck. The bright green colour is algae growing on the side of the ship. For over 30 000 nights it has sat on the Eastern Beach under the Milky Way Galaxy and the Southern Cross. I wonder how many more nights it has left in it.
Due to the Hand Made nature of Peters artwork, (as well as living on an island) framed artwork ships within 3-4 weeks. Unframed work ships within 2-3 weeks.
