Unbreakable

An enormous Blackbutt tree(Eucalyptus pillularis) displaying many epicormic buds after a wildfire. These buds emerge directly from the bark of the plant after all of its leaves and smaller branches had been burnt in the wildfire. They are a back up system so the plant can quickly begin photosynthesising again.
