This is probably one of my favourite images. A plant I had never noticed before a wildfire exposed them for me.
Also known as a Cone Bush, they have small white fluffy extensions on their seeds. This catches the wind and distributes their seeds which are germinated int he fire. A relative of Banksias, they are a member of the Proteacea family.
Due to the Hand Made nature of Peters artwork, (as well as living on an island) framed artwork ships within 3-4 weeks. Unframed work ships within 2-3 weeks.
