Hover

The flower spike of a Grasstree is made up of hundreds
of individual florets which each give up a small droplet
of sweet nectar. Its something that is irresistable to every
nectar feeding oganism around. The Grasstrees in this
image were painted orange by the last light of the day.
It took me three weeks of early mornings and late
afternoons to get this shot.
