About the PrintsThe original transparency is first scanned using a Crossfeld Drum Scanner at high resolution and sized appropriately for reproduction. Colour accuracy from print to print is ensured as to replicate the vibrant and brilliant colours found in the original transparency.Peter Meyer Fine Art Prints are archival quality, printed on heavyweight paper using the latest in digital technology. Prints up to 12” wide are made using watercolour art paper printed with Ultrachrome K3 inks. The watercolour paper has a 118 year rating. Prints 20” wide and larger are made on Fujiflex Chrystal Archive Paper which is a silver halide colour printing material and has the highest colour gamut of any photo medium available. This is done using a Lightjet or Lambda printer, ideal for museum quality prints. These larger prints are all signed by Peter Meyer. All prints over 20” wide are also available as a canvas print. All unframed prints are shipped in tubes. All matted and framed prints are specially packed in heavy duty cardboard boxes for safe shipping anywhere in the world. However, overseas buyers are advised to buy an unframed print as shipping a large frame with glass overseas can get expensive.
